Judging by the Conservatives in Government today, I have to give you a big fat NO on this one.
Liberals have been guilty of not telling the truth here and there but the Conservatives are real pros at it and they do it every day!
For example...Bush and his reasons for going into Iraq...
WMD's my @ss...Bush just wanted to get Saddam for embarrassing his Daddy and he abused the powers of his office and caused the death of many good Americans to do so!
The Iraq War is based on lies by Conservatives! They are so good at not telling the truth, they even got many Liberals on their side to vote for going into Iraq.
Thank God that Liberals are finally seeing light and want to bring an end to the Iraq mess...Just like a majority of America does.
You will soon see by all the thumbs down I will get for this response, that Conservatives can see the truth right in front of their eyes but they will still deny it as being the truth.

This question falls under the same category as, "Have you stopped beating your wife" kinds of questions. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.
As for Truth, in general, conservatives believe that truth is defined by a Higher Power, generally referred to as GOD. Liberals define truth as being self-defined... whatever they say is true is true. This philosophy generally leads to chaos, as everyone can then define whatever THEY wish to be truth as truth, and there are no standards or mores (that's pronounced 'mor-"Az and defined as: fixed morally binding customs of a particular group).
You seem to think that chaos is good... conservatives think chaos is not a good thing.
So... truth be told, conservatives know what "the truth" is, and forced or not, they will speak to it. Whether or not the "libs" agree... now THERE's the rub!

Truth requires knowledge and application of logic.
Since Liberals only deal with feelings, all their decisions are based on emotion.
(Ever notice how the first question asked by an interviewer on the Liberal biased evening news is "How do you feel about that?" NEVER "What do you THINK about that?") Its all about feelings and emotion, not logic, thought and TRUTH.
Emotion is the enemy of logic.
As such, it is impossible for a liberal to recognize truth when it is presented, so why bother?
