and now this.

I am not blaming Bush, but it is very weird to see all of these problems occuring in such a short amount of time. Maybe its Karma.

I would like to think that it's made people wake up and stirred them to start paying closer attention to their leaders and government....

But I have a feeling that's wishful thinking.

and maybe it's the media.

First of all, the economy is doing rather well. There's a downturn in housing, but after a long boom, that's to be expected.

Outsourcing has been going on since before his father took office. It's nothing new. So have political scandals and corruption, and had the media given similar attention to the peccadillos of the Clinton administration, the Senate wouldn't have had the temerity to acquit him for Perjury, and the investigators might have gotten to the bottom of Whitewater and the Cattle Futures bribes.

Nobody caused hurricane Katrina, but someone should have responded. It isn't FEMA, the state is supposed to be the front line of disaster recovery. Where was the governor? Where was the mayor? We already know where Jefferson was, he was commandeering government helicopters to get $90,000 out of his freezer.

We've had many waves of immigrants in the past, Chinese, Italian, Irish, Russian, you name it. What makes this one different is the amount of social spending just getting here qualifies one for. You can't blame the incentive on the illegals, and I don't think the same people who put those programs in place are the ones claiming there's an immigration problem. The fact is, these social incentives are exactly the reason the people against them were against them fifty years ago. "We told you so".

Oh, okay, we can blame 9/11 and the Iraq war on Bush, but let's think that through. The plan to bomb the WTC didn't start under Bush, in fact the first attack was under Clinton, who did nothing serious about it. Now, if you're so against the Iraq war, you have to realize that the alternative to war was to ignore it some more, which is how we got from a failed bombing of the WTC to one that destroyed it.

You kinda need to make up your mind, otherwise you just look like a no-talent heckler.

No terrorist attack on US soil since 911.
Stock market has not recovered from the 911 hit.
Home ownership is up.
As far as political scandels lots of charges but no substance.
Valeria Plane didn't even produce a conviction on who leak it to the press.

Katrina- A mayor and governor failed to prepare turns into blame Bush typical.

Outsourcing has been going on for sometime.

I lost a job during the Clinton years and went to file unemployment on the phone and got a operator in India.

Lets compare the Clintons here is the gloom and doom
Blackhawk down which inspire bin laden
Waco buring up women and children when all they had to do is wait until David came into town which did almost daily.
Tim McVeigh blowing up the federal building in OK.
DNC lost the house and senate to the GOP.
WTC attack #1

If you want to see the bad side to things there are always plenty to look at.

You need sometime away from the heat of the moment to judge things fairly.

There was only 1 9/11, but there was a WTC 1993 and an OK City Bombing under Clinton.
There have been many economic recessions in the past, and there hasn't been a recession in the US in 6 years.
Outsourcing was occurring in the 1990s - that's why Ross Perot was complaining about the Giant Sucking Sound from Mexico.
Political Scandals and corruption have occurred under most presidents
Hurricane Katrina happened once but there have been many devastating hurricanes, including one that wiped out all of Galveston.
Immigration problems have been the subject of public complaint since the dawn of the United States.

It's not Karma - it's your short memory or lack of education on the problems that have occurred in the past.

Seems to me the political corruption is not limited to the Republicans. Diane Fienslim's husband company received billions in military contracts under her watch and was one of the companies responsible for Walter Reed.

Nancy Pelosi's payola to a Spinach farmer in her district in the way of a grant through funds in a pork bill.

The world gets more liberal, and more violent.
I don't think it will all end when Bush is out of
office. It will go on until we become less liberal
and more moral.
