You need to make a more objective assessment of Barack Obama. Sharpton was never elected to the Federal Senate. Your biased question is an insult to the voters of the state of Illinois, where Barack Obama is respected and has won wide appeal for his actions to promote causes of the public good. Your attempt to loosely associate a principled man of integrity with an opportuniist befcause their skin colors are more dark than light is a form of racism. Try reading the book "Blink" by Malcolm Gladwell to investigate the nature of human perception and our ability to discern what is true or to delude ourselves. It is a fascinating book. You might actually learn something.

I think Obama has made a mistake trying to bank on his blackness. He is half white. This gives me the impression that he has the impression that black people are not smart enough to vote for him because of his political views but, that they are dumb enough to vote for him just because he is black.
I don't think he looks at Al as a big brother, he looks at him like a 'brotha'.
