Since I am unsure how it was used or in what context. I'd say it refers to either an internal website to a company (intranet) - these sites usually are only accessible inside the company and contain insider information like newsletters, benefit information, telephone numbers, internal forms, and other company information. It may also refer to the business's website host server or Internet access provider.
