Hmm that looks like fun! I've got all that to look forward to in 3 months (first baby due 8 December). Oh well millions of women do it every day. I'm sure I'll get through it. I hate the way that all women on video are lying on their back when giving birth though - that just looks bloody uncomfortable!!!! Surely standing up or kneeling/squatting would be better (gravity pulling baby down as well making it easier to push baby out) - I'm hoping for a waterbirth which I've heard is more comfortable as the water supports your weight, and lessens the chance of tearing. I'm not that scared of giving birth really - I am a little because I've never done it before, but I guess my main fear (as an emetophobic - fear of vomiting) is that I'll throw up in delivery! I can't handle being sick. Other than that I'm sure I'll get through.

The baby zone on living 2 covers all this - they have 'birth stories' and a lot of other programmes on pregnancy and childbirth. Birth stories is on about 8pm each night and I think there are other ones before then.
Good luck xx

YES, you can! I watch them at work sometimes to pass the time. Some are graphic and some or just informative. You can check them out at www.babyzone.com or www.americanbaby.com. I have never seen a baby born and I am pregnant and it shows you all he parts of labor and whats to come.

Try "The Miracle of life" on PBS website. If i remember right that is the name of it. But i know 5 years ago when i had my daughter i watched it on their website. It takes the entire journey from conception to birth. It is one of the most facinating shows i have ever seen. The discovery channel also has lots of Pregenacy and birth shows. They probably even have them on demand if you have digital cable

Do you not have cable or sky? On living tv or discovery they have them. But honestly its enough to make you want to book a c-section.

Babycenter.com shows you week-by-week pregnancy and if you go there they will show you animated videos, nothing too graphic.
