I have set a 13 x 9 baking pan across two burners of the stove. Put water into the baking pan along with a little dish detergent. Put the stained pan into the baking pan and simmer for a while. Set a timer so you remember to check it periodically. Do not let the baking pan go dry!

Then use Barkeepers Friend to scrub the bottom of the burned on stains, while the pan is still hot. I used an oven mitt to hold the scrub-sponge so I wouldn't get my fingers burned.

This worked for me when a roommate used my good cookware for camping and cooked over an open fire. Yuck!

hose down the pot(common assuming it really is the bottom of the interior), no longer real moist. Sprinkle sufficient baking soda to cover the burnt on foodstuff section properly. it really is going to soak up the moisture and stay there and melt the blistered on section and let it to be extremely bumped off with a non-scratching scrubber. you ought to upload some extra drops of water as mandatory, making positive that the full burnt section is roofed contained in the damp baking soda. The baking soda should be damp sufficient to no longer be powdery anymore yet no longer so moist that it slides about extremely. no matter if it really is burnt in yet another position you ought to(i imagine) position a damp paper towel properly dipped in baking soda over the precedence section, and push it down til it really is flush adversarial to the precedence section, let it sit for a lengthy time period, will be an hour for undesirable issues. i do not imagine it really is going to damage metallic or glass, hasn't damage my chrome metal pots, do not study about Aluminum pots notwithstanding. this does no longer artwork for previous stuff baked on glass dishes notwithstanding.

Put a couple of inches of soapy water in it and let it simmer on low. This works for me if the burns are inside.

If they are outside use Brillo, and use Brillo once you get the inside clean.

Bar Keeper's Freind is a very good cleaner.. I use it on my stainless steel cookware.. it's wonderful.

It will take a little effort to clean off burnt-on soil though. scrub-scrub!
