Hate to burst your bubble, but hundred, thousands, of people have been murdered in Africa for years and while we're entitiled to mourn, I hardly see this as the biggest act of violence compared to, oh, the Holocaust and modern genocides.
Also - there is evil in the world. It's that simple. Humans can be good, evil, or nuetral (sp), and we see the results.

It's not just the US. Look at the world. The US is less violent than many other countries.
The world is heading for a crisis, and it will require violence to solve it.

Maybe it's because people are allowed to own guns... some people will use guns to kill people, when they are in a bad and destructive mood, and I don't understand why people are surprised of this situation... they should expect things like these to happen, when guns are present... children always bullied eachother, so do you think that they are responsible enough not to use them when it comes to bullying?
