MATT---- when u don't choose "good" u become a tool for evil... If he had used his freewill to choose good, the shooting wouldn't have happened!!

Amen sister!!!

Maybe people want to blame God because they don't like to think that us "wonderful, and oh so powerful" humans could do this on our own free will.

But, within every darkness that falls, God will bring His light to it one way or another.

Wow....seriously? You think "evil" controlled him, while in the same rant you contridicted yourself by saying he has free-will? And now you think that you're interveing on other's free-will through prayer?

*Edit: Then you may want to change your wording as you specifically stated "controlled"; say what you mean. While I agree that what this man chose was wrong, I wouldn't even say he chose "evil" in the sense that the evil you are refering to has a consciousness. Not choosing evil, doesn't make an act Righteous or vice versa. Unless it turns out the shooter's reasons were religously based, then there's no point to injecting religon into the situation.

Yes, intercessory prayer is needed right now. That everyone will find a peace that surpasses all understanding in the wake of all of this. I will pray too.
