I did see a Dr. twice and I got x-rays. It was negative. The swelling is down, but when I play softball I cant even make it to the base. It is the same knee I had surgery in so its very week. Any suggestions? Workouts? Vitamins?

You definitely should see a doctor. You didn't mention if you had seen one when you had the accident. The best doctor to see for this is an orthopedic specialist.

You could try taking glucosamine chondroitin with msm witch helps with pain and the healing of the bone but you may steel want to see a specialist since you could posably end up with a blood clot or bone trama.

while i became into in intense college, i became into hit in the two shins and the comparable component surpassed off. I went to my coach and he stated it became right into a bone bruise. And it harm plenty yet he might have me ice it for approximately 20 minutes then rubdown the lump and push it up my shin, smoothing out the swelling so there wasn't an excellent knot. yet i might truthfully propose going to a doctor or seeing your faculties athletic coach and taking discomfort relievers to help. wish it gets extra advantageous for you =]

Probably.. shin splints are fairly common.. little slivers of bone can chip off and cause all kinds of swelling and discomfort.. you aren't as healed as you think :) have it looked at.. lots of ice. Brrrrr.
