I miss that so much! But I don't miss my mother yelling at me! I got lost a couple of times because my family moved on to the next racks of clothing!

Sometimes I would actually jump out of the circular racks and scare people.

Hey, I still pop out of them. When I was a kiddie kiddie, I used to be mesmerized by the clothing that hung around me. I liked going into the circle racks with long dresses, because you couldnt see out and people couldnt see in. My parents freaked out cause I was hiding in one and couldnt see me. It was a prom shop.

Heck yeah, that was some fun sh** man.
my grandparents had a grocery store and we would empty out the lower shelf that held the paper towels, jump in, then stack paper towels in front of us. When someone came by we would jump out. Luckily it was in a small town and most of the patrons knew us and noone got mad.

Yes, I did. There are a few stores around my place that still have them. A couple of friends and I hid a few weeks ago. Quite a laugh..........
Most stores these days are a little more boring. I think that's why.

sure, I used to like to try this.... yet now i'm being tortured via my 4 year previous that likes to do the same element. He hides and is incredibly quiet until i'm in a panic, screaming his call and he pops out...."here i'm Momma" all smiles... UGH! I actual have constantly heard that we've been cursed via our mothers and dads to have toddlers as rotten as we've been.....

OMG I thought I was the only one! I loved it and still do it now and again to drive my daughters crazy. I like to embarrass them in the store. They hate it when I yell out, "Hey Casey! Did you say you needed the X-tra large Maxi-pads?"

no..i never hid in the racks..i was too busy looking at the clothes..small wonder i went into fashion.
