same thing about Imus' remarks? What if G-Dub made similar remarks? My best guess is you hate these guys because they are the only people that come to the aid of blacks. Your thoughts? How does your opinion of Condi change?

My opinion has not changed. Condi said basically "suck it up and move on, she was mature enough to deal with it" These two hypocrites opened their traps and used the following words and phrases in the past, " cracker, honky, hymie, new york is "hymie town" etc. I actually heard someone make the pathetic excuse that "oh they have made great contributions to the civil rights community and the hymie town and hymie comments show that they are human" HUH!?! WTF!?! So if that makes them human, why wasn't the same yard stick used for Imus? I guess he is not human. A WHITE man who has done things behind the scenes for blacks for years especially black kids with cancer.

I mean look at what Sharpton did in 1987 with the race baiting rape hoax of Twanna Brawley and then along came the same race baiting hoax of the Duke Lacrosse scandal. I have never once heard him or Jackson speak out against the "New" Black Panther Party after they went into court and threatened one of the boy's life, saying " you are a dead man walking" or when they said even if they were innocent, they should go to jail for all the white men who got away with raping black women.
You see they won't disavow that kind of talk or apologize for the elevated racial tensions they made even worse with their appearances in Durham because they are a bunch of opportunistic hypocrites and need that kind of swill around to keep themselves relevant in the black community.
They have not, since these boys have been exonerated, come out and said they apologized and that they should have taken a step back instead of jumping in in the rush to "accuse". If the roles had been reversed, and the stripper was white and the players were black, they would have had marches in the nor'easter saying she should be drawn and quartered if not thrown in jail for besmirching the character of the boys. G W is an idiot and I would have treated the comment from him the same way I treated the comment from Imus. I filed it under " garbage". Thin skinned people are the ones who allow words like that to taint their life and have power over them instead of them having power of the words by making sure the words do NOT define them.

You are comparing apples to oranges. Sharpton and Jackson are professional racists and make their living on any event that MAY involve racism. Condoleezza Rice does not meddle in public events to "aid and protect blacks". Your guess of hatred for these guys for ANY reason is totally ridiculous. To point out that you think someone is wrong or is this or is that is NOT hatred. My opinion does NOT change of Condi or Sharpton or Jackson. They remain the same, in my mind, before this question and before Imus.

I love COndi Rice, and hate Sharpton and Jackson. but I agree with Condi about Imus's remarks. you are so clueless, making grand generalizations like that.

News flash- Sharpton and Jackson no more come to the aid of blacks than did CBS radio fire Imus for the "Morality" of his statements. He was fired for FINANCIAL reasons and financial reasons only, just like Jack-sass and Sharpton and how they USE the black community to prop up their agendas.

Hey SHARPTON- you demanded an apology from Imus, where is your apology to the Duke LAcrosse kids???

Hypocrite.

As for as Condi Rice, a natural reaction, as for as the President, it was all propaganda when allegations regarding him not liking black people started. GWB is not a racist. As for as Imus, I think he did right by apology, but he should not have lost his job. As for as the Al Sharptongue and Jesse Nutson,
Sharptongue said. It is time to change the culture of publicly degrading other people. I guess that is, unless they are diamond merchants, white interlopers, or crackers. I wonder where Sharpton was when Cynthia McKinney was losing the last election and her racist thug body guards were calling the winner an Uncle Tom and threatening a Jewish man who they referred to as a Zionist. I wonder where he was when they called the guy a cracker. I guess he was too busy counting the money he makes from using race as a tool of extortion.

Sharptongue has two sets of rules. One for the brothers and one for the crackers. Sharptongue and his downtrodden followers can say what they want because they are oppressed but the rest of us must say the right things or we are racists and Al and his buddy Jesse will come protest and boycott in the name of money fairness.
Al Sharpton needs to be fired for his past racist remarks and I am calling for him to be fired right now. That won’t happen. Brother Al is a protected racist.
Fire him?? From what?? The race baiting hypocrite doesn’t have a job…
Much like Je$$ie, he has no job, he lives off the efforts of others…

Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson could have been amazing leaders in the black community, and for a while Jesse Jackson was, however they both gave up their right to be respected when they started name calling and not checking out the facts before they made accusations. Towanda Brawley anyone?, Calling NYC Hymie town, and defending black leaders that propagate hate is as bad when it is done by blacks as it is when done by whites. Martin Luther King would not have willingly shared a dais with these two. Perhaps we white people should ask why blacks don't like David Dukes, well the answer is self evident. Don't ask me to side with the man who calls me a white devil, I will side with the man who calls me friend.

I don't understand hating Sharpton or Jackson, actually I find it disturbing. The two men in question haven't done anything wrong. In fact what they do, is stand up for what they believe in, and for the rights of others. So even if the conservatives don't agree, that doesn't mean that they have to hate, but for some reason, many do.

I don't get why people get so pissed at Sharpton & Jackson. Why not get mad at the media for hyping up certain occurances? Why not get upset with certain people within the government for the crap that they do on a daily basis that effects all U.S. citizens? Why not get mad at those ignorant people whom have sent death threats to the girl's basketball team and to Imus' wife?

And FYI, just because Sharpton and Jackson have a platform does not mean that they speak for the ENTIRE BLACK COMMUNITY.

i hate sharpton :

1.) b/c im a new yorker and he pops up when ever something that will make him look good at the expense of race relations happens.

2.) - he never apologizes for his own racist and slanderous speech that causes so much more harm than harmony.

3.)- He does not want racial unity, he wants black power unilaterally, which, is inherently racist.

4.)- He is yet another person trying to pass his beliefs upon me as law

5.)-Have you ever physically been with the guy? He is highly credible to those who only hear his soundbytes or read his little phrases in the media. Most of what he says is ridden with hypocrisy and hate, that you too would dislike just on face value alone.

6.) Hymietown!!?!

7.) Now the Duke case and lets not forget what happened in the late 80's.....oh yea, and why wont he address the growing problem of commercialized (not pure mind you) hip hop culture that infects our youth and makes it popular to be a racist, ignorant, violant repeat offender where education is superceded by time served in 'da clink'

Wrong, The reason I hate Sharpton and Jackson is because they are nothing but con men and extortionist. "Come to the aid of blacks" lmoa. Where was Sharpton when two BLACK NYC Detectives were killed by a black criminal ? Where was his outrage ? Where we're the protest ?

Where's Jesse apology to the three WRONGLY accused Duke lacrosse players ?.......

The only people these two represent are the dumb and ignorant.
