Addition: Genmalia...you're nuts. More *people* don't vote for American Idol than for the president...More *votes* were counted than in the last presidential election. How many times did you and your obsessed little friends vote? Does *nobody* vote twice? I suspect many vote as early and often as possible. Think anybody voted ten times? twenty?

More people vote for the American Idol than they do for President. That is disgusting, and part of an explanation for what has gone wrong in our world today!
That being said, I would imagine that plenty of conservatives do watch, I'm just not sure if it is relevant.
I don't and I'm liberal.

I wouldn't miss American Idol and I'm about as conservative as you can get.

frankly i don't see how anyone culd define the show as being either liberal or conservative. They probably don't watch because they have better things to do... like read a book, get educated and get ahead.

I am conservative and I don't watch it because I don't watch trash television. But then again, I believe about 80% of television programming today is trash anyway.

I only watch the beginning few episodes.
I cannot believe how some people really think they can sing. And how some of their families dont tell them they cant.
I know I cant sing, and if my mom tried to tell me I could, I woudl probably slap her.

I dont watch it because it's a steaming pile of dung. My wife seems to like it though, so it may be liberal.
