Interesting message there, Albert.
What he omits is this: as people mature they are exposed to new situations. Values can change as we see things through the new perspective which has been gained in this process. Many people change over the years as a result of the things they learn. How boring would life be if we remained as we were as youths?
I believe Albert might have been more accurate in stating his premise in this manner:
"Women marry men hoping they will change in a manner more pleasing to the women. Men marry women hoping they will stay as immature and innocent as they were when they married."
Therefore, I must disagree with this premise of Alberts.
He was a brilliant man in many other ways however.

Albert was a very smart man. My husband and I knew we were marring a fixer upper. We have both changed and do all we can do to grow together. We are both still in love and we
spoil each other in our own special ways. For anything to work we must be willing to change. No one is perfect... All we can do is try to get better and make others happy.
