being young ain't nothing to do with it, though i doubt i'm as young as you think i am.

and really iraq51, you need to chill. i don't know or care about you, the argument you had with so and so or anything else. if you can take something so inocuous and take it as a personal insult and chase me across yahoo answers to get your 'revenge' i think you need help. so yeah, settle down beavis.

It depends. You want less people to die from the misuse of firearms? Restrict access to guns. You want relative freedom to own guns? Expect people to die.

It's a choice for you to make.

Settle down beavis or butthead.... Yep, I'm the guy you told to settle down beavis because I find being called a LIAR wrong.

Since you don't allow e-mails...my response to your answer to my question about being called a liar...

I can only assume that when people erroneously are called a LIAR you think that's OK...that you enjoy being called a LIAR.

Now to answer your question....instead of asking rehtocical questions...why don't you take action? Go out and try to to amended the 2nd Amendment to the US Constitution?

And by the way...what fool proof 100% plan do you have that will ensure the criminals turn in their guns too. And just a thought to consider...a 6'3' muscular man wielding a knife and high on drugs broke into my home while my wife and 3 year old son were there alone....I was on a business trip. I keep a.357 Magnum revolver in a locked box which she is trained to use. The bad guy ran away the moment my wife pointed the gun at him. Now...any question what would have happened to my wife & son if my wife had no accessto a gun? And please, don'ttry that crap about...she shouldhave run away,or grabbed a kitched knife or baseball bat. Right....6'3",muscular and high on drugs....good suggestions.

I don't own a gun, nor do I want one in my home. But I don't think the guns are the problem in those situations. The parents of the children need to take better precautions, and the children won't get them. If we had a rash of babies getting into cabinets beacuse they were not locked and drinking the chemicals, should they outlaw Drano?

You are obviously a young person who dosen't understand how
governments work, they start out good but gradually degrade into power hungry, oppressive murdering entities who have no respect for right to life, our founding fathers understood this and thats why they set up our Constitution the way it is,if the people are armed ,governments being the cowards they are will not entertain the idea of oppression

The problem is that law breakers are always the ones who get the guns, and they get away with it. How many people own guns and have never shot anyone? A lot.
