I didn't think the boos were that loud, and I believe it was the Tigers fans who were doing the booing. It's only a 4-hour drive up the 401 to Toronto, and there were a lot of Tigers fans at Skydome this weekend.

I'm sure some Toronto fans were booing him just for the sake of booing, but I really think it was Tigers fans making the noise.

I was at that game. There were about 3000 Tigers fans there, and I know the one I was sitting next to was booing him. He called him an old fart and that he was not worth ten cents. I never really heard a Jays fan boo him, or at least where I was.

And Sheffield always seemed to be getiing clutch hits in the past off us, so there might be a bit of the Jeter factor there.

From my experiences-
The Jays fans can be just plain tough.
They make fun of the opposing fans like crazy, worse then any other games i have been to anyway...
