That's easy, they have no job, no love life and social life you add that together with the only connection to their outside world being a computer you get what equals to a bad attitude. We aren't all like that. I try to be as kind as possible!

There are a lot of negative persons on here. I can't understand why so many have to call each other names. The other thing that bothers me, is all the flirting to try to get "Best Answers", that is a turn off for me. I must be too old for this P&S forum, maybe. I have never understood, ever, why someone has to call others bad names or put other people down. It is uncalled for.

You are right - there's no need to be rude. Sometimes people answer trying to make a joke (I guess it's OK, if it 's a nice and funny joke.)
And sometimes people are sarcastic, especially when a question is just plain silly or doesn't make any sense. How would you answer a question "My car doesn't start, is it broken?" Or how would you answer a question "My leg hurts, what do you think is wrong?"
Of course, as you said, just don't answer, but some people cannot help themselves.
I think we'd get better answers, if people read their own questions to make sure they make sense and CAN be answered, before posting them.

There are a lot of attitudes on here, but I think there are a lot of "MIS-READ" answers also. I've been called rude here several times. My answers came across that way, but were not intended to be. So it's pretty much in how you interpet the answers.

There's much to be gained from appreciating our negative thoughts and feelings, It is important to acknowledge that negative thoughts can serve a purpose. We need to take a morally neutral position with respect to angry emotions, not always see them as destructive and all-consuming.

I hate to say this, but it's a growing phenomenon. People are getting access to computers and they're realizing that they can get away with things on-line that they can't get away with in real life. It's kind of like Herpes: once it's in the system, you can't get it out... Yet. Sorry...

I like to think I have a pleasant attitude. I agree with what you said. Doubtful you will get a nasty answer from me at anytime.

If you really do not want to hear or read a negative answer do not ask the question.
