I have a reason to believe someone is using my computer at work when i am not there. Does anyone know of a programme I can download which will email me all the key strokes from my machine, even though i wish for it to be loaded on boot, it must not appear on the bottom taskbar..........any ideas?

Your situation is quite scary. First, if it is a company resource, they should be responsible for securing the system, not you as the user. User rights should be minimal, only providing administrative rights when justified.

Secondly, installing a key logger program has a lot of legal implications that need to be researched. If someone discovers that you are logging keystrokes, you open yourself and the company up to a lawsuit.

Lastly, are users logging in with their own account? If so, why are you worried if someone is logging into the system? It isn't your personal device and as long as they aren't impersonating you, don't worry about it. I know it is easy to get attached to a computer once you customize it but it is a company resource still.

Please don't open yourself and your employer up to a lawsuit over trying to find out who is using your work computer.

Before you load anything of this nature on to a works machine clear it with your management, these are the kind of programmes computer vandals use, you could be risking your job, and employment record, no-one will hire someone with a suspicion of this kind against them
