On the serious side, gun control doesn't work. If we look at England or Australia, we see that banning guns only removed the protection from law-abiding citizens, and made crime a heck of a lot safer. Both have seen INCREASES in gun crime.
And, studies also show that allowing law-abiding citizens the right to carry guns to protect themselves results in reduced crime.
And gun laws don't prevent criminals from obtaining guns. They never did.

Gun control won't stop this kind of thing. In case after case gun crimes actually increase when law abiding citizens are disarmed by authorities.

Ok how about "say no to gun control" - does that work for you? Not one gun control law would of prevented what happened today. We need to start outlawing crazy wack jobs and start putting them back into mental hospitals like we used to.

No gun control (I am a liberal).
Instead:
Strict restrictions on obtaining gun permits and purchases. Also - better access to benefits for mental health!

Guns do not make you a killer. IMO killing makes you a killer. You can kill someone wit a baseball bat or a car, but no one is trying to ban you from driving to the ball game.

I still say no to gun contol. This guy was a madman who would have killed another way if no gun was available. You can make napalm with gasoline and jello, are we going to ban those too?
