Perhaps there's a free clinic in your area that you could go to, or a place that offers pregnancy tests at reduced prices. If your test is negative, you're probably not pregnant, but there could be another reason why you're not having your period. You may need to go to the doctor anyway.

Missing your period doesn't necessarily mean you are pregnant. It could be stress related. Starting new exercises or different daily activities can affect your period. Some people will have what you call a "silent period" meaning you experience all the symptoms of a period without ever bleeding. It can be scary especially if you are not wanting to be pregnant but its really not a big deal. I would give it some time and take another test. If the test is still negative then I would call a doctor because a doctor will be able to tell you for sure. Better to be safe then sorry.

The tests are very accurate most of the time, but you have to know when to use them. For instance, if you use them too soon, they might not indicate a pregnancy when you ARE actually pregnant. So, if you are more than 3 weeks overdue for your period, take another test, but make sure to take a good one (like EPT or Clearblue Easy), not one of those generic ones. Also, most cities have free clinics where you can go even if you don't have insurance. You can easily find the locations online by typing "free clinic" plus the name of your city into your search engine. Good luck to you, and God bless!

You should check with the Health Department in your local area. They sometimes will do the test at no cost to you or they can put you in contact with an organizations that will do the test for free. If you are not pregnant, you may want to see a doctor anyway if you are not feeling u to your usual standards.

Having been pregnant before, I knew before I took the 3 pregnancy tests that I was pregnant. I was feeling forever tired, my breasts hurt constantly, and I felt nauseated all the time. I would try another brand of pregnancy test, and for best results, take it first thing in the morning. Best of Luck!

i took three tests with false negatives before i got my positive result. my first symptom was being extremely tired all the time, so yes it is definitely possible. if you dont have insurance then go to planned parenthood. they will give you a test for free.
