Im 30 weeks pregnant, and my midwife told me once you hit that stage you should be feeling at least 10 movements in 24 hours. If you dont, call a midwife/doctor. But, dont be too worried, also remember that as they are growing in there, there is less room for them to move, so it is normal to feel less movements later on. I also find that with my baby girl, she moves a hell of a lot one day, then the next shes quiet, so I have a feeling when shes quiet shes growing/having a growth spurt (babies do alot of growing in their sleep) and because of that spurt shes generally kicking ALOT in a couple of days lol.

Well your baby is running out of room in there. You should still feel him move, but it's probably not going to be as drastic. You'll feel more squirms rather than hard kicks.
The general rule is if you don't feel at least 10 movements in 2 hours to call your doc. Now take this with a grain of salt---babies in the womb sleep a lot like newborns do. So you may not feel movement for a while, and then feel more movement later on in the day. and some babies just have days where they're just not as active.
If you're feeling any kind of regular movement, then there's usually nothing to worry about. If you're concerned, try drinking some juice and laying on your left side to see if you feel some movement.

One day they are active, and then next they only move a couple of times. It's normal. Especially at 34 weeks when the area is getting too small for the baby to move around in.

I'm 34 weeks and have noticed the same thing i still feel him move but not as often hes always been more active at night though.
its because at our stage the baby is started to get restricted for room but as long as you feel him ever so often then its fine don't worry.
good luck

It certain depends on how big the baby is and how big you are. If you are five foot 10 and big boned there is more room
If you are five foot 2 and small there is less room.
If you are concerned call your Doctor and request an exam.
Your baby is most likely fine and getting crowded but sometimes babies need to deliver early for one reason or another.

you should feel about 7 kicks. Time how long it takes to feel seven kicks. Usually its about 2-3 hours. Do this test after eating a big meal and while laying on your back.
