Women are safer drivers but men park better !

I used to drive truck for a big company in Long Beach Ca. We had about 300 drivers there. Mostly men, but about 10 female drivers. I would have ridden with almost every lady there over some of the male drivers. I have driven over 2 million miles, and I had more encounters and close calls caused by men than I did with women. I'm talking about getting cut off, flipped off, and anything else. The females would usually be more co-operative than the male.

got to say as a none driver women are safe drivers maybe a bit 2 safe 2 the point of holding the bloody traffic up, lol, men just like 2 get there which is good as well but they also think there the best at every thing which of course there not lol

Sorry to say being a woman and all , but men make the better drivers 70% of the time . The worst infact being 18-25 year old girls . You'll find a guy of the same age alot more courteous .
You may also get boy racers but girl racers are alot more careless than the boys .. .

I would say a toss up....not because I am one of those people who likes balance (i do) and not because I am on the side of women or love men (both), but because I have seen, even handedly, both good and bad men and women drivers...
I would say women drive badly when they are on their cell phones, calming down kids in the back seat, applying makeup, or just lost in space.
Men seem to drive badly to me when they are also on their cell phones, tuning radio,mp3, CD player, looking at women in cars, or fiddling with maps/mapsco.
I have had to travel a lot and my husband drove a truck for years and we have both seen this.
Women and men are equally good and bad drivers.

Careful drivers make the best drivers. So no particular sex is better.

I agree with just jen i am a proffesional driver and there is scant attention paid to the road these days, i have seen people do their hair ,eating,phoning ,reading the list goes on but you bet your bottom dollar when they do cause an accident (and they will one day)ooohh no it wasnt my fault, ballderdash or words to the same effect.

I believe that there is no gender partiality in who is a best driver. But i have to admit i am not such a confident driver myself, but there are some guys who are freaks on the roads as well!

I believe women. Not because I'm a girl but because that men seem to like taking risks while putting other people at risk by driving 100 MPH. I think women are more careful on the road. What do you think?
