One could almost say that hate is the most hated thing in the world and love is the most loved. Still, I think I am going to go with fear being the most hated thing and harmony (internal and external) being the most loved thing.

The most hated, universally, is probably taxes. It's an unfair system that penalises the law abiding, traceable, middle income earners in all countries.
The most loved? Well, that would probably be money. No one can possibly say that they don't love money. It's a necessary evil, which we would all like more of.
