I had a test do the same thing! It was the cheap test you can get for three or four bucks at Walmart. I took a different test the new clear blue easy a couple hours later and that one was negative. Chances are you aren't. However some women do spot during pregnancy. I actually had spotting during the 3rd month of my pregnancy with my son. Good luck at the Doctors!

well if the vertical line was lighter then that means u have a slim chance of being pregnant but my best is to retake the test a week later

well if ur use to spotting for ur cycle then u can be normal but if ur pregnant and bleeding theres a chance u might have had a miscarriage there is no such thing as a defective test for pregnanice best of luck

If you tested positive then I would consider yourself pregnant. You might be having some implantation bleeding or perhaps a "threatened" miscarriage that might not actually happen. Either way, I would go ahead and call your OB and tell about the bleeding and see if they want you to come in sooner.

sometimes spotting is normal - sometimes you can get it monthly throughout the pregnancy as if a cycle. (!)

I'm glad you made a doc appt - mean time TRY not to stress about it, just try to relax.

I hope this works out for you! Good luck!
