The word "supernatural" simply means beyond nature. In reality, there can be nothing beyond nature, for everything that exists is natural or it would not exist. However, we perceive that there are things which are "supernatural" because we cannot as yet find a natural explanation for it. And nature is not only in the material world, but also the spiritual world, so even spirit is natural, not supernatural.

Now things like demons have been considered supernatual because in earlier times no one understood mental illness, which is the main cause of demon manifestations, often combined with a misunderstanding of psychic abilities. In reality, there are no demons beyond the mind with its fears, guilts and superstitions.

Ghosts are simply the spirits of those who have not as yet passed into the Light. They are no more evil than anyone else who is still walking around in their physical body. Some remain here because of worry about the loved ones they have left behind, or because of something else which holds them here. Eventually they will go into the Light and join those who have passed on before them. But, there is nothing to fear from ghosts.

Vampires are a figment of the imagination and those who pretend to be vampires are just that, pretenders. Vampires have become something fun, spooky, and romantic through novels and movies, but the truth is that they never actually existed, except as the result of the superstitious imaginings of medieval times when all sorts of horrors were imagined to be in the shadows.

Fallens came from the old Greek myth of the fall of the Titans when the gods defeated them and took over Mt. Olympus. They were later associated with the Christian idea of "fallen angels" and then were connected to demons as time went on. Again, these do not exist, except in the imagination.

God is probably the closest to what could be called supernatural because we cannot fully understand what God is except as the Ultimate Mind. But, all that exists is a part of God, for all that exists came from God. Because all that exists is natural, we could say that God is nature itself, although beyond anything that we can touch or see, any more than we can touch or see the mind. So, even God isn't supernatural.

I hope that this has been helpful.

Ok, well, if there is nothing evil, by the same definition, there is no good. You can't have one absolute without a mirroring image. Hence, if they do not beleive in the evil in the world, there can't be any good.

As for the supernatural, you can't say "Yes, God is real" and deny anything else. its all a matter of faith and belief. Theres enough hearsay evidence that ghosts may exist. People call the Fae and Magic supernatural, but theres an almost ethereal beauty in a lot of nature if you look around. You can fob everything off as supernatural, but its been ingrained in the human mind and imagination for it to no longer exist.

"Supernatural" is a very misleading word. It implies that something can exist that is not part of that which is "natural." However, one would normally accept that everything that exists is part of nature - part of the entire whole of existence - from which one can easily conclude that there can be no such thing as "supernatural," as it cannot exist separately from the whole.

This leaves room for the theoretical existence of ghosts, god, etc. If, on the other hand, you are asking "Do ghosts, god, etc., actually exist?" then I'm afraid that I personally am aware of no objective evidence of such things.

The problem comes when people feel that they have to propose something "beyond" existence to explain existence, rather than just accept existence as a self-contained concept, needing no creation mythology.

There is no evidence of anything supernatural. If your mom and brother believe in a supernatural god, but deny the possibility of other supernatural things (with the same evidence for either), you should dismiss them for being inconsistent.

First they say there isn't anything supernatural. Then they say that god is supernatural. Confront them without backing down and ask them which one it is. You will be surprised at the answer you get.

supernatural is real, and so is God. I implore you, seek Him, and His Holy Spirit. Do not mess with the supernatural or paranormal, for they are the work of evil spirits. Seek God and His love and guidance.

Last week's "Supernatural" is this week's scientifically explained phenomenon.

As for "beings" of pure evil or pure good? Hogwash.
Those are all made up things that the religious community invents in order to keep their followers "in line".

Just a bunch of hokum.

I believe that Dean would want me to say no. There is absolutely no supernatural anywhere.

Everything you can think of Exists. If it does not move, It is planned to happen. Time Is Conscious. Time is the greyness right before light all the way to the darkest darkness you can imagine.
