bark: Actually, I don't. Thank you for so beautifully illustrating my point.

burke: And which of MY actions and words do you claim are indicative of my supposed hatred of my country? Please, elaborate. Have that much integrity.

Nikki: Doesn't matter whether I like it or not, it's your right to say it. "Neocon" is not an insult. It refers to the new conservatives; the ones who are so far to the right that they're going around in circles. I respect conservatives. Neocons are not all conservatives.

Still waiting for one of you cowards to have the guts to tell me what I've personally said or done that validates your accusation that I hate my country... and for that "person" down there who claims I didn't say I don't... you need to learn to read.

truckman: Could you please provide links to where I did any of those things that you're accusing me of?

sway_26: I've never said all neocons are stupid. Many are, but many people in this country (regardless of political party) are stupid. So I'm not sure I understand your answer.

Steve E: Well, in the absence of your ability to prove otherwise by pointing to something specific I've said or done... you're just going to have to be a man and accept my word for it.

You need to remember that it's not really THEM saying we hate America: it's them parroting their heroes Hannity and Rush. They don't think for themselves. They hear these guys say these big lies repetitively, and then they go out and say them, too.

The truth is that Americans love their country. Neocons love it like a baby loves its mother: uncritically, without thought, my mom is the best in the world. Liberals love it like a husband loves his wife: supporting her to be the best she can be by giving her constructive criticism. Some of us are adults and some of us still aren't.

I agree that we should not judge either side by those who post on this web site. "The best lack all conviction, while the worst are full of passionate intensity" as W B Yates says, and the majority of people who post the crazy stuff here seem to be from the most extreme ends of the spectrum. I, for one, find this partisan p*ssing contest very tiresome. Some rational moderate voices would be more than welcome here in my humble opinion.

I rarely say that liberals hate America, but we could also point out that just because liberals think we are stupid doesn't mean we are. Everyone has their own opinion.

Neo cons are only mean to you because they haven't been completely purged of the evils of liberalism. They are former democrats after all. They just weren't cold war cowards so they abandoned the democrat party.

Just because you say you do doesn't mean you're not lying.

I would wager that it is beyond their comprehension. Cons get one thing in their minds and it sticks.. doesn't matter if it right or not. They do not have the brain cell that allows them to actually consider other thoughts.. Too bad.. some of them might actually be intelligent if they tried.. oh well!!!

What is apparently beyond YOUR comprehension is that you show you hate American with your very actions. Think before you act?

You're right.. somebody pointing it out is not what makes it so. It's your actions and belief system that gives them something to point to..
