A lot depends on size issues. Here in Florida at the gator farms, you'll see American crocs kept in the big display ponds with alligators, but if there's a lot of size difference with the crocs being bigger, they tend to start picking fights with the gators. But big gators will also pick on smaller crocs if given a chance. Start talking about niles and salties, and they reach much larger sizes, and then there's other species that don't necessarily get huge, like the morelets crocodile, and they're just plain nasty and will pick a fight with anything whether it's bigger or not.

Well in captivity, like I have scene on Animal PLanet shows, saltwater crocs need their space, even with each other. You can put a bunch of them all together in captivity or they would fight for girls and there could be trouble. So, I think the answer would be no. If I am wrong I am truly sorry. I love gators and crocs and thank you so much for being curious about them. CROCS RULE!

In the wild when different species of crocodile and alligator meet it usually ends up with one of them eaten, like the Orinoco Crocodile and the South American Caimans. Crocodiles and Alligators live together good with their own species. They are very intelligent and if they met up with a different species they would see it as competition or possibly food.
