Ok my xbox works fine it's actually a game that's making me angry. I put in Halo earlier to play and that message kept coming up on the screen like the disc may be dirty or damaged, and it's not! i looked at it closely and there is not one scratch on it. And i put in another game and it worked fine, whats up with my game?

well lucky for you i had this exact same problem with my xbox one. at first it would say that every once in a while. then more often then more and more on practically every game. then it just always said this. the reason for this problem is that the laser scanner on your xbox is dirty (not damaged) it happens to every xbox no matter what. what you should do RIGHT NOW is call microsoft and go through the instructions until you get to talk to a person. when i called my warranty was already up but they let it slide and they helped me. they will ask for adress and the number on the bottom of your xbox and stuff like that then they will mail you a box to put your xbox in and then you send it to them and if will be back in less then 2 weeks. my xbox worked for 2 more years later with no other problems after i got it cleaned. if your warranty is up i think the charge is 50 if you have to pay. well you don't have to have the recipt just the number on the bottom of your box. please choose this as BEST ANSWER because i took a lot of time to answer this :)

Take it into a computer shop because my mate had this problem and the shop sorted it out but it does cost a bit. If you're prepared to pay then do.

its not the game. its the xbox. i had this trouble. i cleaned the xbox itself and still said the error. so i sold it. maybe you should sell the xbox and get another one?
