My girlfriend has requested that I start to completely shave my pubic hair. I thought it was quite a strange thing to request of a man. I'm just wondering if any of you men on this site do (or have done) so...

Personally I trim the area because I shaved it once and it itched for days as it grew back in. Not a good look when you work in a female dominated factory..!

Tried it once. My wife liked the idea. Lovely at first a little sore but not much. But when the bristles start to grow it's so uncomfortable. You know how the stubble on your chin can annoy you if you miss shaving for 3 or 4 days.Imagine this prickly sensation down below. Every time you move the stubble grates on your pants.Never again you either have to shave there daily or forget about it. I forgot about it.

I don't understand how it is attractive, i think hair makes a man more manly, i just luv it!(well a trim doesnt do much harm). also if a guy has shaved pubes they're paying too much attention to their appearance, keepin that area shaven is high maintanence for a man, i hate the fact that men are getting like girls. its the the most unsexy thing. i have found that a man who shaves his pubes is often quite insecure and self-concious. i say let it grow! it looks better, plus it'll feel better for you guys, maybe even for a girl during sex. a girl won't want stubble rubbin on her, ew. i have to say that shaven pubes are my biggest turn off.

I've done it before at the request of an ex, I'd do it again if I had a mrs who requested it but it's a pain in the **** and I wouldn't both otherwise.

I would suggest not shaving unless you want to start buying Venus shavers and other women bath products. I have no respect for males who shave, and even less for those who shave only to comply with a womens request. Furthermore, just like your face, when the hair starts growing back you will experience tremendous discomfort as the short hair rubs against your underwear.

As for you girl friend tell her to learn to love the natural look.

A man that enjoys a shaved beaver...Is the same with the female enjoying a shaved tool....Its so much more enjoyable when we are perfoming fellatio without all the hair...Just my humble opinion....

I shave my pubic area at least every two weeks. When I first started, it itched, but then it was fine. My wife loves when I have shaved balls. It feels so great during oral sex.

I did it a few times in the past, you can get razor burn easily, I did every time, I tried recently hair remover cream for another part of my body but it was great, painless, no razor burn, cheap too.

Well, your wife like it smooth. I trim, not shave it completely. As long as you feel comfortable, that's fine
