A home pregnancy test can range in price from $1.00 at Dollar Tree (or other dollar stores) up to almost $20.00 depending on which store you go to.
If you have a Dollar Tree store, buy a couple of their tests. They are very reliable and sensitive too. No sense in wasting money on a more expensive test that will give you the same result.
If you don't need to test right away, buy some online (Aim Stick is really sensitive and cheap too!).

There are several pregnancy test kits available to women for home use. Most of these tests employ a method to detect the presence or absence of HCG that is very similar to that used by medical laboratories.
The advantages of home kits are the convenience and privacy they afford in comparison to standard laboratory care. Home tests, like pregnancy testing in a medical laboratory, can determine pregnancy as soon as one day after a missed period and results can be obtained in less than twenty minutes.
The disadvantages of home pregnancy kits are the chance of error and the cost. Possible sources of error include using a contaminated urine sample, reading the result earlier or later than specified and not using a big enough sample. Because of the possibility of error, there are often instructions to do a second pregnancy test a week later, if the results are negative. Kits cost between $8-$20 and repeat home testing may become expensive.

a home pregnancy test could cost anywhere from $1 at a dollar store to $ 15 at a drug store. it will also depend on the brand. you could always go to a women's clinic and your insurance could cover it or be free all together.

They cost a whole range (available even at dollar stores!!, but I wouldn't trust those). Usually buying a generic brand a larger chain store is reliable, available in a dual pack, and not more than $10 or so for more than one.
good luck!

At the dollar store they're a dollar. At Walmart they range from about $4-$20 depending on brand and whether you get a single or multipack.

The cheapest place I have gotten them is Dollar general for $4. They have them at grocery stores, walmart ect... for anywhere from just under $10 to $20. In my personal experience, the cheap ones worked best. you don't have to spend alot. Good luck!

Not sure about the cost where you live, but I paid 8 dollars for a box that had two in it. That was about 6 years ago. I am sure they're not much more than that today.
