I think this is a loaded question. It sounds like you are trying to start an unhealthy trend of negative thoughts. This is an awful and terrible thing that happened. Nuts like that are and can be found in any background and religion. This does not mean that we should be profiling and generalizing and targeting certain beliefs and backgrounds.

I personally just feel sorry for the victims and their families and that is as far as I go.

Apparently Affirmative Action is working. Today's guy is an Asian from early reports. We have a Muslim in the Utah mall. We have a pair of black serial killers in D.C. a couple of years ago.

Nice to see racial and ethnic equality manifest itself.

why does it matter what race/religion the shooter was. that is not the important thing to be worrying about right now. we should just be trying to figure out why he did it and why these incidents keep occuring.

There was already a witness who said he was asian, but I'm not sure how reliable he was. I know I hate to stereotype, but for some reason that suprises me.
