It doesn't matter at all what ankle your wear it on. There is no set rule, or code that says you have to wear it on your left ankle or your right ankle.. Half the time I have one on each ankle.

If it is one of those radio ankle bracelets that your parole officer snaps on to make sure you remain under house arrest you should go along with whichever ankle they choose for you. Kicking and raising a fuss is considered an undesirable reaction.

My boyfriend got me a gorgeous white gold anklet and I switch it every few weeks because the clasp starts to bug my skin sometimes and also so I don't get a tan line of it during the Spring and Summer.

Put it on each ankle in turn...figure-out which one it looks better on (to you), and wear it on that one.
