I was watching Bangladeshs match against all teams, and man the only good batsman i saw was Ashraful even at this age the types of shot he does are just amazing his batting skills are just awsome what do you all think and did you see that "cheeky backhand shot" (thats what the comentaters call it i dont know whats the real name) thats just awsome Give me your rating on Ashraful

my rating on ashraful is 7/10
this seven ratings is for his beautiful batting style, foot movement,shot choosing,brave shots and faster running between wickets.
the 3 ratings he missed out are for his poor fielding and inconsistency in his batting.
i sure think that he will correct his negative points and get 10/10

Mohammed Ashraful is a very talented young middle order batsman in the Bangladesh Team.
He holds the world record for the youngest batsman to make a Test century. He achieved this feat on Test debut, scoring 114 against Sri Lanka on September 8, 2001.
However, he has not been able to justice to his talent and potential as he was not performing well consistently. After prolonged string of poor performances and easy dismissals he was dropped from the national team, but returned in 2004 against the Indian cricket team to record his second century, 158 not out. This also set the record for highest individual Test score by a Bangladeshi. In 2006 he scored 136 in the first test against Sri Lanka.
Ashraful has been the key batsman in several of Bangladesh's famous victories. He made exactly 100 in Bangladesh's win over Australia at Cardiff in the NatWest Series on June 18, 2005.
His batting in the 2007 world cup against South Africa was unforgetable for the types of shots he played and he was instrumental for the victory of Bangladesh over South Africa..
If he maintains his performance consistently, he will be a batsman to fear in Bangladesh Team and can bring more glori to the Team
