I want to sell it now, I know it's got Intel in it (don't know which one) and what memory its got and other stuff. Someone told me that all this is displayed if you quickly press one of the F keys when you boot up the PC - which one! I've got into system information and got all that but I'm told that the boot up screen is more accurate. Advice please?

This depends entirely on the motherboard specification , and which type and version of BIOS your are using.
As a general rule, either F2 or the delete key allows access to the BIOS utility.

Bios Access in 3 steps
1. Turn on the computer
2. Almost instantaneously begin hitting both the delete key and the F2 key just to be safe.
3. The BIOS menu will now be displayed.

If not, then post back here.
