ok anything that is a square root raised the square so square root of s ^2 is just 2. so to the 4 is going to make it like 2^2. so try it out now and if you still don't understand just ask away

When you have an exponent, it means you take whatever the base is and multiply it by itself that number of times.

If you had w^4 that would be WxWxWxW, for example.

So IF you had (sqrt 3) ^4, that would end up being 9 (ask if you need know why).

But your problem is a bit more complicated and necessitates use of distributive property... though I suppose you could get an APPROXIMATION for the base number first...

but you will need to take:
(sqrt3 + sqrt 2 + 1) x (sqrt3 + sqrt 2 + 1) x (sqrt3 + sqrt 2 + 1) x (sqrt3 + sqrt 2 + 1)

Look at:
(x + y + z) ^2 =
x^2 + 2xy + 2xz + y^2 + 2yz + z^2

then keep applying distributive property like that. Does that make sense?

i became into in a position to sparkling up via inspection: x = 5. The sq. root of x + 4 is sqrt(9) = 3. The sq. root of x - 4 is sqrt(a million) = a million. the version is two. i seen it as, "What 2 sq. numbers variety via 8 and function sq. roots that variety via 2?" i understand that 2 consecutive sq. numbers variety via a wierd variety equivalent to a minimum of one extra advantageous than two times the sq. root of the smaller sq.. 8 is comparable to 3 + 5, making it the sum of consecutive odd numbers. this ability that the 1st sq. may be the sq. of one 0.5 of one below the 1st odd variety. ((3 - a million) / 2)^2 = a million, so the 1st sq. is a million and the 2nd, 8 bigger, is 9. fixing the two x - 4 = a million or x + 4 = 9 provides us x = 5.
