for abortions. As well as our tax $ help pay for the young mother who choose not to end her babies life. Of course it is more expensive to pay for a babies life, but then even the littlest life needs to be voted for by all of us in USA. I would rather our tax $ help pay for babies adoption or a young mother than the surgery that ends the life of a fetus in the womb.

Thanks for clarifying that our tax dollars don't pay for abortions. Praise God for that. But insurance companies do. I am all for our tax dollars to help a young mother though.

If I'm not mistaken, there was federal legislation passed saying that no federal funds could be used for abortions or the advertising thereof. It's strange that there are so many talking about how much of an issue abortion is and so few talking about how much of an issue unprotected sex is. Let's see, if someone abstains or uses birth control then she is less likely to get pregnant AND spread STDs like AIDS, herpes, gonorrhea, syphillis, hpv, yeast infections and other conditions. I'd rather spend my time encouraging people not to allow the pregnancy to start than howl about it after it's happened.
It is our tax dollars that pay for the mistakes that the back alley butchers make when illegal abortions are performed. It is also our tax dollars that pay for the people who've contracted STDs through unprotected sex.

Since when do tax dollars pay for abortions? Our tax dollars pay for multiple generations of women on welfare who keep having kids out of wedlock and refuse to work. Our tax dollars should be paying for either condoms or mandatory sterilizations.

Abortions keep the crime rate down and save tax dollars (I will try to find the link for that statistic).
Abortions help control the population.

No, because we don't vote to see if a class of people are allowed to live. This would be similar to putting the fate of Jews up for a vote in Nazi Germany. If one class of people can be dehumanized, no one is safe.
