A page of 96 square inches is to have margins of 1inch on either side and 1.5 inches at the top and bottom, as in the diagram. Find the dimensions of the page that maximize the print area.

A maximized rectangular area will be a square.
Let the length and height of the print area each be "p" then add the margins to each and multiply to be equal to 96. Then solve for P and add the margins back. Then check your answer. (approx >9x >10)
You do the math . Use your calculator only to find the sq rt.

96 square inches would be 12x8.Wouldn't it be 9x6 after the margins?
