My baby shower was Saturday and i had 3 hostesses..what is the etiquitte to thank them? should i buy them a gift..or what? thanks!

Very nice, personal thank you notes are always nice. Unless of course, you can afford to get them gifts and you really appreciate the effort that was put into it. If it was a particularly fun/beautiful/touching shower, I would definitely get some sort of a thoughtful gift for your friends. Gift certificates are nice, especially to salons or spas or nail places ... or nice places to eat. Even nice lunch places like Olive Garden, which won't break the bank but still show you care.

Yes, gifts are great. If this helps, this is what I usually do:
Personalized gifts are nice- this shows the recepient that you've actually put some thought into it. (works on any budget).
Another good idea is to take them out to a nice restaurant and take care of the bill- a classic way to show one's appreciation.
Or you can treat them to getting there hair or nails done, just about every woman loves that!

A thank you note would be fine. If they went above and beyond, or it is within your means you could take them all to a thank you lunch or get them each a small gift.

A thank you note with an IOU for a baby picture is always nice.

Be sure to mention all of them during the party all and thank them in front of everyone. Then a simple thank you card is fine.

It isn't necessasary to give them a gift but you should write them a note and thank you card.

yes you should b/c they bought things for you and i think theyd deserve a thank you note or a present from you to really show your thanks
