Your cycle is calculated as the first day of your period to the day before the first day of your next period. Then you take the number of days, divide by two and add that to the first day of your period to determine when you will most likely ovulate.
Here's an example for a 28 day cycle:
Period starts of 1st of the month
Ovulation around the 15th of the month
Next period due to start on 29th of the month
for the next month (in a month with 30 days):
Period started on the 29th
Ovulation about the 12th
Next period starts on 27th

Since you know how long your cycles are... you count back 14 days from expected start of your next period and that gives you the date you'll ovulate. Since you started your period yesterday the 15th... your next period will start on May 12th. That means you'll ovulate on April 29th. You are most fertile 2 days before... the day of... and the day after ovulation. So if you are trying to get pregnant, your prime days are April 27 ~ 30. For best chances of getting pregnant, have sex every 36 ~ 48 hours which gives the little buggers time to be more potent. No need to put pillows under your back or keep your legs up. Just take a quick pee after you're done and jump into bed for a nap or just to relax for a bit.
I've always calculated my ovulation and that was my method of birth control... until I was ready to start having children. I've gotten pregnant both times on the first try by using the above mentioned steps.
Good luck!
By the way... I noticed some said count 14 days ahead from the start of your period... but it's actually 14 days before the start of your next period. In your case it won't matter which way you count since your cycle is 28 days... but if your cycle was anything different... then you'd be wrong in your calculation.

If you have a 28 day cycle, you should ovulate around cycle day 14. 14 days from yesterday would make you ovulate on April 29th. Just remember that it is 14 days from day 1. It is a good idea that if you are trying that you have sex the 2 days before ovulation the day of and the day after ovulation to conceive. I hope this helps and good luck!!!

Now everyone can cure infertility using this natural remedy http://pregnancyhelps.info
infertility can run in the family and one of the first things the doctor asks you when you go to a fertility clinic is your family history regarding cases of infertility or other reproductive issues.
If infertility is caused by genetic disorder then it's not unusual that one of the kids (your mom) doesn't have it and another does (your aunt).
two months of trying is still to early to be concerned about the fact that you might be infertile and it's also quite early to go to a fertility specialist. Go to a regular Obgyb to get a closer insight and see what ways there are are to improve your fertility rate.
Also remove alcohol, caffeine and cigarettes from your life because they might influence your chances too. Stress is also a risk factor when it comes to infertility.

OVULATION STARTS USUALLY AROUND 10-14 DAYS AFTER THE END OF A CYCLE. SO PRETTY MUCH THE MIDDLE OF A CYCLE. OVULATION LASTS AROUND 3 DAYS.
AT THE DRUG STORE, NEXT TO THE PREGNANCY TESTS, IS A OVULATION KIT.
THIS KIT CONTAINS ABOUT 5 STICKS OR SO. THEY ARE JUST LIKE PREGNANCY TESTS, IN WHICH YOU DO URINATE ON THEM. THESE TEST FOR OVULATION. WHEN IT DOES COME OUT POSITIVE, IT IS LIKE THAT YOU WILL BE OVULATING IN LIKE THE NEXT 24 HOURS OR SO, SO ITS THE BEST TIME TO HAVE SEX.
TRY THE OVULATION KITS, IT IS THE EASIEST WAY TO KNOW FOR SURE.

When you can't get pregnant, and things look good from the outside, it can be extremely frustrating.
The first thing to consider is how long have you been trying. About 80% of couples will get pregnant after six months of trying, and about 90% will be pregnant after 12 months of trying to get pregnant. Anyway this is a great methid to get pregnant fast https://tr.im/fd75a
