The book you need to read is "Self Therapy for the Stutterer" published by the Stuttering Foundation. That is the book that helped several uncles and cousins of mine who used to stutter. Only one also went to a speech therapist who specialized in treating stuttering. You can get the book through the Foundation or at some public libraries.

Have you ever tried singing? That can sometimes cure the stutters. Sing what you want to say for a while (don't suggest doing this in school unless you get the teachers permission beforehand) and then try talking. This has worked for others I know.
Readings good, however reading out louds the key, you might try finding an audience to do this, like a parent or sibling. Good luck with this problem!

Yes, if your stuttering is merely a lack of self-confidence.
Perfect example: Mel Tillis, the singer. Only stutters during interviews when he's got to be himself, but never while singing a song!
I had an English teacher in high school who did the same thing--read from books perfectly, but stuttered through his own comments. Once I privately got to point this out to him, he stopped stuttering completely!
Good luck!

it is often a no longer straight forward subject to restoration yet there are some issues that could help. before everything tho anybody that makes exciting of you for that's a loser, yet as you reported once you talk merely relax take deep breaths merely you may desire to stay calm and if ur in a controversy merely you may desire to stay calm and hear aswell can help. merely hear to what the different person has to assert and picture approximately what you want to assert and take it sluggish in case you may desire to. Im useful with training the stutter will pass away. merely proceed to be comfortable whether its no longer straight forward merely attempt and have confidents in what you assert and im useful you will do nice. better of excellent fortune :)

Hiya, reading is good for anyone, i understand what your saying, as a kid i had a really bad stammer, went to speech therapist and it worked, Singing is great for some reason your brain does not catch up with the words so you can sing them, another trick is when you feel you will stammer the word say "mmmmmm"" quietly to yourself until you know it will come out. i still stammer from time to time but can now cope on a day to day basis with it, good luck

Try getting clean pebbles and put them in your mouth while you read outloud.
There was an ancient Greek speaker who did this. It helped him enunciate.
