Of all of the cleaners and technics out there that I've tried. I have found that the Plain ol "Windex", and large "Mr. Coffee" fillters work the best. Not any other brand, and not the scented or ones with added stuff, nor even the wipes are as good!
The Mr Coffee filtes prove to be the least in lint left on mirrors, windows and glass. If you have a lot to clean,... I suggest using windex with a clean soft cloth that has not been washed or dried wrih any fabric softner at all. Then spritz over and use filter for a lint and streak free shine.
I've used rubbing alcohol with filters and had super results also. But, though within minutes smell is gone most people cannot go the smell while usig it.

I was a custodian for a school once and we had tons of cleaners. The only thing that worked really well was water and then wiped down with those ugly brown paper towels. I tried it at home and found that it depends on the mirror. I know it sounds funny, but i use cleaner for 3 of them and water with those ugly brown paper towels on the other 2. I still have tons of the uglies so i'm not sure were you could find those. Just try buying the cheapest, hardest ones. Good Luck!!

I know this sounds crazy the less humidity in the room the better. I shut off the lights then I use Windex and a dry towel or paper towel. I clean offices and houses for extra money. I buy my own cleaning towels. When I clean the towels I make sure not to put fabric softener in the wash of cleaning towels. I just use some bleach and a bit of laundry soap. Also if you use paper towel make sure it does not have any lotions.

Alot of the streaking depends on the cleaner you use...
The very best cleaner is 2 tsp. of vinegar in a pint of water.
Use a coffee filter or a balled-up newspaper instead of a paper towel. Let it air-dry afterwords.
You will have no streaks and it will sparkle.

I use Windex...but the secret for mirrors and windows is using newspaper to wipe it off with!!! You wouldn't think it works, because of the newspaper ink, but try it. I use it on my car windows which are the hardest to clean, especially the inside of the windshield!!! It really works!!!

Use glass cleaner, not multi-surface cleaner. I recommend Windex. Then use a newspaper to wipe it with. Also kind of buff it so it looks flawless.
