i cannot wait for cousin camp this weekend. every 4 months or so my husband's cousins get together at someone's home in a city in texas and we meet and eat and drink and be merry. We figured it was better than waiting for the next wedding or funeral to see each other and in this respect we can have a good time without feeling bad that we should be mourning and the weddings are often time too few and far between and other times they hit us like 3 or 4 in the same year....so there ya go!

I can't wait until friday night gets here because my best friend and I are leaving to go out of town to a concert for 2 days!! I need a mini vacation!

we are finally puting a roof above our heads on the porch. I has been open for quite awhile so people could pretty much go strait up into our attic and steal or break into anything they wanted.
