Numbers going up with gestational diabetes??

Question

I am 34 weeks pregnant. I have been diet and excersize controlling the diabetes but now seem unable to control it. My doctor did say something about "if your numbers get too high I will induce at 37 weeks". Does anyone have any idea what she means? Also.. I have non-stress tests 2x a week and see her weekly. They say they can tell with a non-stress test how well your numbers are.. If they just started getting high (3-4 days) will they be able to tell when I go for my non-stress test today? Thanks

I know she means she will make her come out. (this is #4) I just wondered if anyone knew about how high she would be concerned. I am only measuring a week ahead right now.

I had a friend go through that. I feel bad because I can't remember exactly what her numbers were, but her doctor gave her a threshold number for her not to go above.

Maybe she means your sugars?
They like to induce mothers with GDm to avoid the baby becoming too big to birth.

she means if you numbers get to high she will induce you which means bring the baby early? congrats and take care?
