Something was making noise in my VW Jetta 2000, after I searched I found the steel tub going to the booster from engine was loose, I just hold it tight the noise stopped, and my question is what is that pipe and can I just glue it? Or have to take it to mechanic.

That's the vacuum line. Glue probably wouldn't hold. It's hard to tell without knowing where it's broken, but if you can get tape around the bad spot, you can get some antenna connector sealing tape from Radio shack that should do the trick. Not electrical tape, but a special type that seals to itself. Otherwise, get some 5 minute epoxy and try to seal it with that.
