me and my boyfriend have been having unprotected sex and i took a pregnancy test yesterday and i am pregnant. im 17, i dont want my mom to find out because she will lose trust in me.i want to go to the doctor but i think they will tell me i have to go with my mom since im under age.what can i do to abort as soon as possible?

your parents will find out regardless. you may as well tell them yourself, before someone else does. i don't feel the least bit sorry for you. you make the choice to play, now you have to pay for it. don't try and play 'poor little me' to anyone. you knew good and well what you were doing and what the costs of it could be. now live with what you did.

It is wrong to abort your child because it will grow from a foetus to be another human being, just like you. I think you are feeling really scared at the moment, and want to get rid of the problem as quickly as possible. We all make mistakes, and you have made one - but you can still do the right thing for yourself and the baby. Tell your mum. She will be very upset for sure - but these things happen. If you are concerned she will lose trust for you she must love you. She and you will get over it. One good option would be to have the baby, and put it up for adoption. Many childless couples could give it the love it needs. In a few years this will be behind you, you will have given another human being a chance at life, and you will have dealt with your mistake the best way possible, and you will have a clear conscience.

You will most likely need a parents signature stating that its OK for you to have an abortion. That's not the best way to go. This will haunt you for the rest of your life. You choose to have unprotected sex knowing what the consequences were. Why cant you just step up to the plate and have your child. Just as you thought that you were mature enough to have sex then be mature enough to take care of this baby. You might regret killing your baby in the long run.

The fact that you are only 17, you really should talk to your parents. Even if you lose their trust for a while you can always gain it back.
You don't want to make a quick decision that you will regret in the future.
I had the same thing happen to my when I was your age, and my mom told me that she would have respected me less, and would never trust me again, if she had later found out that I didn't come to her.
Your life isn't over because your pregnant. It's just changing, and possibly for the better (at least mine did).

It depends on what state you're in. Some states require parental consent. A search for "state abortion law" pulled up this summary. I'm not sure how accurate it is, and I don't vouch for the site. It just looks like the best state-by-state summary.

Having said that, at some point you have to live your life and do what you want, and not worry so much about what people think about you. This is a decision you have got to be totally comfortable with, and you need to make it on your own. No pressure from the boyfriend, or from mom, or from what you think mom might think. If you make this decision under pressure you're pretty likely to regret it. Make sure you've weighed all the possibilities.

You took a huge risk while having unprotected sex now you have to live with the consequences. Did you not expect to get pregnant?

I suggest you come clean to your mother and ask for her help. The decision you are about to make will effect the rest of your life. You need to really consider your options carefully and the best way to do that is to surround yourself with the people you love.

Why would you want to get an abortion? its murder! I'm getting so tired of ppl always saying this bull crap of how its not but it is! Don't you know what they do!? Haven't you seen the videos and pictures!? Why would you let an innocent life getting taken away for something stupid you did. There's so many teen pregnancies these days. You should have known the consequence for what you did. You opened your legs so you take the responsibility of having a child. The least you can do is give the child up for adoption to have a decent life.

You say you don't want your mom to lose trust in you. But imagine what would happen if you got an abortion and she found out after the fact! Do you think she'd trust you then?? Unless your parents are abusive, you really do need to tell them. Abortion is SURGERY, and it isn't without risks. You will also need medical care if you decide to keep the baby.

I have 1 simple question for you why were you having unprotected sex in the first place??? If you just be cautious this would of never occured oh and another thing do not abort because if you do you will become a BABY KILLER! instead explore adoption issuses

You need to talk to your mom. How do you think she will feel if she finds out later that you had a abortion and you kept this from her. Abortion is not the answer to birth control. Look into adoption. there are allot of couples that would love you have the child your want to abort
