Nobody denies that the earth is warming in some places.
The debate is over whether human activity has been a significant source of the changes.

I don't think most people that are Global Warming critics are claiming it isn't happening, they are just not convinced that it is man made or to what extant its man made. Most Global Warming critics admit that the climate has been slowly changing as part of ongoing cycles that have been happening since the earth formed.
Explanation of the melting ice caps...
1) Mars' polar caps are shrinking. Maybe the increase in solar activity that has been documented is the cause?
2) There is evidence that while part of Antarctica is shrinking the other side is growing. Is it possible that Global Warming alarmists are cherry picking the data to support their claims?
3) Glaciers in Greenland are retreating. At the same time other Glaciers in Greenland are growing. Does this prove there is Global Warming or does it prove that there are changes in the local climates?
Go out and get the whole story from a source other than the evening news. There is much more to the debate than the few sound bites and talking points you have heard.

It is simple the temperature at any given point on the Earth varies from time to time. During winter the ice cap at the north pole is increasing. It does this every year and has for millions of years. At the same time the ice cap at the south pole is decreasing because it is receiving more direct sun light than in would at other times of the year.
Come spring and summer the northern ice cap melts and the southern ice caps begin to increase in mass. Regardless of whether or not the Earth is warming or cooling somewhere on Earth ice will always be melting and somewhere water will always be freezing.

Well, global warming is not actually a fraud. What is a fraud, is the belief that people are causing it. Recently, Scientists discovered that the polar ice caps on MARS are melting. But the funny thing is, there is not polution on Mars, and they are millions of miles farther from the sun then we are. Strange huh? Maybe we should tell those martians to stop using fossil fuels.

The melting ice caps are circumstantial evidence, just like much of the evidence against Global Warming. Like "it is snowing in Philly today". The hard evidence is what really matters, and it gives substantial evidence to a partially human influenced Global Climate Change.

How do you explain the muliple ice cap advancements and retreats over just the last few million years?
Man is a very arrogant being. His history is but a speck of sand on a beach when compared with the age of the earth.

I'm not a scientist so i don't know if fossil fuels are the cause of global warming parse although I think it has to contribute but what I do know is that fossil fuels causes war and as we know war kills a lot of people. What I also know is that people challenging the existence of global warming are either warmongers or have interests in the oil industry which makes their point bias for obvious reasons.
