I'm getting tired of hearing about global warming. I need some! It's awful cold here. I have popsicle toes. I'll keep my warm fuzzy slippers on and hope the world heats up just a bit more. Global warming is nothing more than a spook story told to frighten women and little children.

This question doesn't even make sense. If you want to keep trees from breaking down and releasing CO2, you keep them alive, not cut them down. Maybe you should make your question a little clearer. Trees have been dying and breaking down for eons; that's a natural cycle. It's only since people have started BURNING forests (especially rain forests) and fossil fuels (created from plant material eons ago) that the CO2 levels have risen.

I think you need to go read your biology and chemistry textbooks again.

But, my uninformed friend, not all organic matter gets oxidized back to CO2, a significant portion gets absorbed in to the topsoil. That's why healthy soil appears black, it has a lot of old organic matter in it.

Try actually learning some science before you start braying with your limited knowledge.

your stuck in the right vs left paradigm, dont play the blame game why cant you accept that our leaders regardless of their political party simply just dont give a crap about anything other than their own selfish interests. they dont serve the people anymore they serve the corporation or however is lining their pockets.

No, but we can help the world by giving children an education in basic science.

Shhh... you're going to confuse them with real science. If people start to figure out all the natural places CO2 comes from, they might start to question just how unnatural CO2 production is.
