Speaking hypothetically, "if" Heaven/Hell was real, and we were able to see where we would spend eternity, at least once.....do you think people would then alter their lives for good living?
Like, we all got a chance to see Heaven, and then see Hell. and then we had to come to earth and live. If you knew it was a reality for eternity, would it change your lifestyle?

People are always going to try to get away with as much as they possibly can. I don't think most people would really change that much.

It is not so much Heaven or Hell, but it is the standards by which we are judged that would make a difference.

Some people believe their ticket to heaven is punched by attending church on a regular basis yet judging others (gays, pro-choice, etc.). Others believe that the judgement is made on how you treat/accept other people.

In answer to your question, seeing Heaven and Hell would make no difference on how people lived their lives. What would make a difference if people actually knew what the judging criteria was for getting into Heaven or Hell.

I think it is presumptious for anyone to presupose they know what these criteria are. I think it is unfortunate that many try to force their criteria on others.

In asking your questions "would it change your lifestyle?" Does that mean that many of the Christian conservatives would give it a rest and accept all people as Jesus did?

Somehow, I do not think so.

I saw a poll yesterday where 91% of Americans say they believe in God. And 87% of Americans align themselves with Christianity. I think these are silly numbers. If they were true, then all these people know what the end result is, but look at how America lives.

How does any of what you speak pay your taxes? Nothing seems to impact people. People just do what they do. For example if people smoke you can show them all the cancer victims, statistics, dying people, dead people, etc. and they keep on smoking. It is the same with anything else. People will do whatever they decide no matter what you tell them, show them or try to shock them with. People are addicted to whatever they do in life and any after life. Good or bad will have no effect on what they decide to do in life. What advice have you followed? So Christians are motivated by fear? Are you saying that you have to see something before you believe? What could you show a Jeffrey Dahmer to scare him? What can you show a terrorist that is about to blow himself up to scare him? What do Christians mean by "God Fearing"??? Does that mean you should fear heaven along with hell?

Nope. We are too human. I know that there is a Heaven, and I still choose to live my life with all kinds of bad things involved. I am learning and need to experience even the bad stuff.

I think it would change for some. The reality is that humans flesh is very weak. i think they would start out by reading about three or more chapters per day, but as the days progress the forces of evil would over come the hearts of some men/women as greed would slowly blind there eyes.

I pray that you will remain strong in Jesus.

I agree with Mr Potato head...the polls are skewed because they ask the wrong questions...if that many people really were Christian, America would be much different...Anna's baby and Imus wouldn't be in the news

And I agree with Cap'n A....People are always going to push the envelope of what they can get away with.....

I think it would make people more paranoid. They'd be so worried about every little mistake they made that they would miss out on some of the greatest things that make up life. I think thats why we don't know for sure. You only get one life, you might as well enjoy it while you're here.

Yeah, it would definitely change the way I live, however, I don't think anyone can earn their way to Heaven, that's not the entry requirements
