I'm serious. We have trains, planes and automobiles, and I'm starting to wonder if the system is stagnating. Look at cars/autos, for instance; on a slow day, it seems as if every road is packed, and let's not even think about rush hour... Then we have trains, which eat more gas than a fleet of trucks and are slow as hell climbing hills. And then there are planes, which I still think are giant flying gas cans, and you can't use tobacco to keep from going postal on the idiot in front of you who wants to put his seat back so far that the boys are screaming in agony!

Needless to say, I'm starting to think about armed revolution...

I don't know that I would go as far as armed revolution but new modes of transportation is a good idea. I can plan out a garden and flowers and things to go into a moving van first but designing transportation is out of my league. sorry

yeah i love that commercial where the cars rise above and fly in the sky that was in the 5th Element which is several years old , i wonder how far off that technology is, sitting in traffic makes you want to work o/n then you have to deal with construction crews

I think you hit the needle on the head.

What about hover side walks, this would relieve bus routes.
you'd still cross streets . each bock would be independent.

hydrogen buses, With just water as exhaust.

mandatory hydrogen cabs.
