Clinton drove the economy towards the ground, and it was only during the bush administration that the economy improved. As for the budget "surplus", it was only an illusion so not really existant under clinton. So there.

Asking why they do what they do will make you crazy, you cannot figure it out.

Some would say they hate America, I am not sure that is correct, I think they want to RULE america with us as their subjects.

Some would say they hate bush, but I think that is just part of my first thought, they just want to RULE america and make you a subject to their will.

Some would say that bush did not improve the economy or that it was great when clitoon left office, which is absolutely delusional.

You are aware that this hate bush thing is a clear symptom of paranioa?

Congrats I can see by the answers you really got the socialists all fired up, and did you notice not want produced a citation for their facts.

I got 300 dollars from Clintons balancing of the budget...during the Clinton Administration!

Could you be referring to the war in Iraq that Bush started with corrupt missuse of intelligence that is driving the economy to the ground?

The reason the economy improved during Bush, you dolt, is because of the past real-estate boon in 2003. Everyone and their grand-mother was refinancing their houses and cashing out equity..equity that is now all gone.

So look around at your neighbors and see how the economy is. Everything they bought in the last 4 years came from their HELOC(home equity line of credit). Have you seen the forclosure rate in California? In Texas? In Florida? And everywhere else too.

People are upside down in their houses because of fallen house values and resetting variable rates on subprime mortgages.....people are getting laid-off by the tens of thousands from big fat cat companies and chucked to the curb due to 'restructuring' ....and you think the economy is good?....... THAT is the illusion here.

So go crawl back under your Bush/Cheney in '04 bumper sticker !

I bet you have your head shoved so far up Bushes Bible Bangin A ss that you couldnt see clearly even if you had God's eyes......So there!

And the "improvement" experienced by the Bush administration also is an illusion.

Consumer confidence is the gauge they go by. Right now, consumers don't have confidence in the economy. I cite you the auto industry, gas prices, housing market, etc. You can make anything look GREAT on paper, but it is the perception that is the reality for others. The perception is that the economy sucks. So the economy is seen as being bad.

Obviously, Republicans are going to defend their guy, and the Democrats are going to defend theirs. Bush sucks, and that is that. I would go through Clinton and all his lies again rather than deal with a self-serving, war monger like Bush. That is my perception, which becomes my reality.

In the last six years real wages have gone up less than 1% while gross domestic production has gone up 18%. So for the people who actually produce the wealth, the economy is stagnant at best. The only people who are actually getting any benefit of Bush's "improved economy" are a handful of investors and CEOs.

I don't think Clinton drove the economy into the grounds. It was bad from the beginning.

Ross Perot had a great effect. He easily took away an excellent form of conservative votes. yet there have been different motives. As Clinton's slogan reported, "it is the economic equipment stupid". The economic equipment grew to become into in a modest recession, yet no longer extremely undesirable. the autumn of the Soviet empire in all risk slowed protection spending, that could desire to have had some result on the economic equipment. The cellular and cyber web industries had no longer taken off yet (and those industries fueled the economic equipment interior the Clinton era). there have been no low fee chinese language products to gasoline consumerism. And elevating taxes does not help the economic equipment. "study my lips, no new taxes". It does not help to get caught in a great lie. Conservatives abhore taxes and that's the Republican base. Bush grew to become into way out of touch with what an commonplace American grew to become into on the time. He characterised the middle classification as earning $200K/12 months back then. He might desire to have meant it incredibly is how lots somebody who graduated interior the midst of his classification at Yale regulation college makes. Who knows? He grew to become into out of touch with Joe six p.c... finally, between the biggest secrets and techniques approximately Bush's loss grew to become into that he grew to become into mushy on communism. because of the fact the Soviet Union collapsed, Bush did each and everything he might desire to to prop up the Gorbachov regime. What do assume from the former director of theCIA? He grew to become into going to omit his previous buds. because of the fact the former Soviet republics declared their independence, the u . s . grew to become into continually between the final international locations to correctly known those new autonomous states. Refugees from the former Soviet Union that now lived in theUSA have been appalled. This grew to become right into a block that had voted ninety% Republican because of the fact they seen the Dems as mushy on communism. Bush lost all of those votes. i understand, my relatives is a Soviet refugee relatives. I voted for Clinton because of the fact I hated George Bush for his betrayal.

"So there"? Seriously?

Well, since some cons are claiming that the surplus existed and was great but was not the work of Clinton (but rather the Republican Congress), I guess I'm a little confused. Could you guys please get your story straight and then come back and ask an actual question?

Thanks.

You lost any and all credibility with that question.

Want to talk about an illusion? People like you say the Bush economy is booming. Look at statistics. Only those that had high incomes to start with have seen their incomes go up.

Want further proof?
Personal savings are at an all time low.
Personal debt is at an all time high.

Bush's economy is a "borrowed" economy.

Actually, Bush took Clinton's surplus and gave us a record deficit. Wrong again! I guess you're not winning that trip to Jamaica!
