My daughter is always staining her clothes, especially on the cuffs. I need something heavy duty to get it out. Some of them have been there for a few washings. I HATE stained clothes!! Thanks

Hey, I use that Oxi-Clean!!! It works wonders!!!! My 7 yr old fell and scraped her knee, but it was one of those "how did you do that!!!!!" falls, because she ended up with a grass stain and blood mix.....ahhhhhhh I don't know how she did it, but I took the Oxi-Clean and some hot water and did a pre-treatment/soak and was amazed when EVERYTHING came out!!!!!!

awsome stuff.

Here are some of my tried and true faves!! The Sugar Paste works like a charm!!

Sprinkle the stain with Baking Soda, scrub gently with a wat scrub brush.

Pour a can of Coca-Cola into the washer and launder as usual.

Spray with Formula 409, wash as usual.

Wash with a cup of White Vinegar.

Rub Lestoil into spots that have been in clothing for a while and wash.

Dawn dishwashing liquid - take a little and cover the stain, let it sit for about a half hour, and then wash.

White Vinegar, will remove perspiration stains and smells
Sugar Paste, made of sugar and water, and allowed to sit for one hour, will usually remove anything else

Last, but not least, Pine-Sol can take most oil and grease stains out of clothes.

I know what you mean. I can't stand it when my daughter 4y and my son 7m get their clothes stained. Or mine when he spits all over me. I usually try to combine powder Oxy Clean w/Liquid Tide to form a paste and scrub it w/a toothbrush. Just be careful you don't leave it on to long though or test the fabric first. One time I left it on for a few days and it left a big bleached out spot on the front of my daughter's shirt. Another thing I tried when my daughter was little is something called Totally Toddler. You can by it @ Babies R Us. I really can't remember how well it worked though. When something is stained and it doesn't come out when you wash it remember not to dry it or it will set the stain in for good in most cases. I just let it hang dry and try again the next time I do laundry.

It will depend on what the stain is. If it is food, especially anything greasy or tomato based, use Dawn dish detergent. Cover the entire stain and wash soon. I also use for dirt stains on my boys clothes, the stain stick from Spary and wash. It works well, plus you can rub it on and then just toss it in the hamper. I also like the Clorox bleach pen for small stains on light colors. I hope that helps some!

Borax eliminates grease in a warm wash. I many times in basic terms soak any puzzling stains in a mixture of excellent style powder and oxygen bleach in warm water and enable it sit down in one day. do no longer blend whites with darks etc

Lysol works well when nothing else will but you have to do a spot check to make sure it wont ruin the colour of your clothes
